This was shown at the D23 Expo (a convention for Disney fans held last week).
Although it was posted on YouTube by a spoiler site, the video itself appears to be spoiler-free. It’s comprised mostly of clips from Season 5, and touches on the main events and themes of that season. It also has a few quick glimpses, from earlier seasons, of some familiar faces that we haven’t seen in a while.
The narrator says:
All the lives on board Oceanic Flight 815 will find the answer to the biggest question of all.
Can’t wait! Less than five more months to go. Ha. Being a LOST fan is like taking an advanced-level course in learning how to cultivate patience.
This is a LOST promo from Spain, which is unlike any promo I’ve seen in the U.S. It’s very surrealistic:
The words held by the crabs at the end — Te queremos encontrar — translate (I think) to “You want to find.” What does that mean? “Find” as a play on words on “Lost”? Your guess is as good as mine.
Here’s a three-minute promo that was shown at the Roma Fiction Fest this week. The promo focuses on how LOST is a global phenomenon. At the end, there’s a little teaser for Season 6, aka the “Destiny Found” season.
Also, while I was browsing on YouTube, I found a cute (though shaky) video clip of Terry O’Quinn (Locke) and Jorge Garcia (Hurley) at the first Roma Fiction Fest, two years ago:
Here’s a cute short promo that ABC put out to cross-promote LOST and Dancing With the Stars, featuring Jorge dancing with a rake to a Britney Spears song:
Can you believe that Season 5 is almost over? I don’t want it to end!
The Finale should be great, though.
Wednesday evening will start off with yet another clip/recap show, this one called Lost: A Journey in Time. From the press release, it sounds as if it will pick up where the last one left off, after the Losties returned to the Island.
Right after the clip show, the 2-hour Season 5 Finale, The Incident parts 1 & 2, will begin.
The Incident was written by our old friends Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. The director is Jack Bender, who has directed many of the best LOST episodes, including, among many others, all of the previous Season Finales, The Constant, The Man from Tallahassee (probably my all-time favorite episode), and most recently, Some Like it Hoth.
Here’s the trailer for the finale:
And here are some promo pictures (Contains spoilers, including one character I wasn’t expecting to see!):
Here’s a sneak peek that was leaked from the set. It looks like it might be rehearsal footage or an early take (?) shot by a bystander (?) on the set (Contains spoilers!)
