Ask Lost: Daniel Dae Kim (Jin)

Daniel Dae Kim gets his turn to answer viewer questions in this third installment of “Ask Lost.” He talks about how far Jin has come as a character, which other characters he would like to play, and why he loves living in Hawaii.

Ask Lost — Jorge Garcia (Hurley)

Jorge Garcia talks about what he’d like Hurley to do that he hasn’t done before, what his favorite lottery number is, and why he’d like to see the show move to Egypt.

Ask Lost — Michael Emerson (Ben) answers viewer questions

ABC started a new feature a few weeks ago, “Ask LOST,” where the actors answer viewer questions.

Michael Emerson was the first one up. He comes across here as articulate, smart, very nice — and not at all scary. I like the sound of his voice here; he has the diction of a stage actor, which of course is what he was for many years.

Lost Untangled 5×13 Some Like it Hoth

Would you believe I still haven’t finished my taxes? (Do I get some kind of procrastination award?) Well, here’s the Lost Untangled video which I’m just going to plop down for the moment… I’ll come back later, post-taxes, to add on some comments ….

Editing to add: Now I’m back.

What I learned from the video is that Bram, the kidnapper in the van who asks Miles if he knows what’s in the shadow of the statue, is the same guy who was with Ilana on the beach when she was posing the same question to Lapidus!

The narrator also confirms that Baby Miles is, indeed, the same person as Big Miles. (I had been wondering if perhaps Chang, after deserting one family, had started another, and gave the new baby the same name as his first, deserted son. Another theory bites the dust!) So time really is folding in on itself!

Video podcast — Hurley and Miles talk about time travel

This week’s official video podcast is about the wonderful scenes, in 5×11 What Happened, Happened, where Hurley and Miles talk about time travel.

The podcast shows some clips from the scenes and also shows a bit of what was happening on the set while the scenes were being filmed. Between takes, Jorge Garcia (Hurley) and Ken Leung (Miles) bounce ideas off each other, trying to make some sense out of time travel — just like their characters do!
