   I thought it was good, not great. The one scene I thought really outstanding was the one where Jack goes to his son’s audition, and finally connects with him afterwards, and discovers that he doesn’t have to be a crappy dad like his own father was.

   There is something heartwarming about the sideways world, where everyone is doing better than they were in the original flashback world.

   Crazy Claire was a bit over the top. I wasn’t expecting Locke to be her special friend, but I wasn’t surprised either.

   I agree with you. The episode was good, but not that great. Even lots of Hurley didn’t help too much. I kind of had thought that fLocke might have been the “friend” Claire was talking about, but was hoping I was wrong. Oh well.
